What is Little Lids?

Little Lids is an online hat shop exclusively for children. We carry our own array of vintage newsboy caps and bonnets along with other brands. Little Lids carefully brings together a rich collaboration of unique, hard to find and well-made hats. If it's not unique or an origianl hat design, we won't stock it. If we don't absolutely love it and wouldn't put it on our own children, -- then we will not sell it.

How do I select a size?

Because babies and children come in all shapes and sizes, our sizing chart is meant to be a guideline only. Sizing should be adjusted accordingly if your child is smaller or larger than average. 0-3 months --- 14"-15" head circumference 3-6 months --- 15"-17" head circumference 6-12 months --- 17"-18.5" head circumference 12-24 months --- 19.5"-20.75 inches - 52cm 2-4 years --- 20.75"-21.25 inches - 54cm 4-8 years --- 21.5"-22 inches - 56cm

How do I measure my child's head circumference?

Wrap a tape measure around your child's head just above the eyebrows

Insert your index finger inside the tape measure (allowing extra room for growth).

Read the measurement in inches and compare with the size chart above.

If you are unable to measure your child's head, we recommend that you order a larger size. Your little one will be more comfortable and you will get the most out of your hat.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes, we do. We produce 2 collections a year and we make to order for the most part. We hold limited stock in our best sellings items. At this time we are showing/selling our Fall Holiday 2010 collection. All Little Lids Vintage caps are made in the USA with high quality wool. Is the hat you want out of stock?

Some hats literally fly off the shelves. Our aim is to keep everything in stock at all times. If you come across a hat you want that is out of stock, then please send us a quick email (info@littlelids.com) or call us    (Toll Free 1-877-314-4287) and we will let you know if it will be coming back in or maybe we could special order it for you. Just ask!

What is your Privacy Policy?

Your information stays with us. We respect your privacy. Little Lids nevers sells or distributes any customer information, under any circumstance.

Do you ship Internationally?

Little Lids is delighted to accept international orders from select countries. Orders are shipped using USPS Global Priority Mail whenever possible because of this method's low cost and high reliability. Please note that Little Lids reserves the right to decide the method of international delivery. Average delivery time on international orders is 7 to 10 business days. Please note that some international deliveries may take longer. If you wish to order, please send us an email (info@littlelids.com) with your name, address and order. We will get back to you and let you know if we can accept your order, the total cost or your order including shipping charges and requesting your payment method. Please note that orders shipped outside of the U.S. may be subjected to import duties, taxes, fees. You are solely responsible for any charges incurred by your local governmental agencies.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We understand that sometimes what you receive is not what you thought it would be. Buying hats on the internet can be hard. Rest assure, we will work with you to ensure you receive exactly what you want. We treat our customers the way would like to be treated. We offer a 100 % satisfaction guarantee (excluding shipping/handling charges). "Our No Questions Asked Guarantee" is to ensure each order is placed with assurance that you will be completely delighted with our hats. All returns require an authorization number. Send an email to info@littlelids.com requesting a return within 30 days of receipt . We will reply with a return authorization #. Shipping charges are not refundable and the customer is responsible for return shipping charges. How do you ship and how much is shipping?

When can I expect my order once placed online?

Orders are shipped out within 1-2 business days. Priority Mail takes 3-5 postal business days and Express Mail takes 1-2 days.

Do you offer NEXT DAY shipping?

Yes, we offer Express Mail from the USPS. Orders placed by noon (Eastern Standard Time) will be shipped out the same day. Please call us to ensure your order is processed. We promise to do everything we can to get your order to you when you need it.
